Juventus Open to Dusan Vlahović Exit But Await “Good Proposal”

Juventus are willing to let striker Dusan Vlahović leave this summer if they receive a proper bid. The club says no offer meeting their valuation has come yet.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Juventus General Manager Damien Comolli said the club and Vlahović have agreed he can go this summer if a good offer comes. However, no offer has yet matched Juventus’s demands for the Serbian striker, and Vlahović will only leave if the financial and sporting terms are met. The statement comes amid mounting speculation about Vlahović’s future, with several European clubs reportedly monitoring the situation. The striker’s contract runs until June 2026, and his high salary is a hurdle for some suitors.

TRANSFER SITUATION AND INTEREST

Juventus want to sell Vlahović this summer to avoid him leaving for free later. AC Milan is showing strong interest, with their new manager Max Allegri allegedly wanting a reunion, but Milan is reportedly only offering half of Vlahović’s current salary and is capping the transfer fee at €10-12 million. In England, Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham, and Newcastle have linked with the striker. Rumors suggest Arsenal is considering a starting bid of about €30 million, which is expected to be more attractive to Juventus financially than Milan’s offer. Juventus still wants a fee close to the striker’s market value of €60 million, but may have to accept less due to the limited number of buyers and his salary demands.

JUVENTUS AND VLAHOVIĆ’S RECENT FORM

Last season, Vlahović was Juventus’s top scorer with 14 goals, but he lost his starting place after Randal Kolo Muani arrived on loan. Juventus finished fourth in Serie A and secured Champions League football, but lacked consistency in attack. Vlahović’s high salary—reportedly the highest in Serie A—has become an issue for the club, especially as his contract expires. Juventus starts the 2025/26 Serie A campaign against a team that finished 14th last season. Juventus remains three points behind Roma and two ahead of Atalanta and hopes for a stronger finish. Whether Vlahović will be part of their squad for the new season depends on whether any club can meet both Juventus’ and the player’s requirements in the next few weeks.
