Kalvin Phillips Gets Second Chance at Manchester City

Manchester City have put Kalvin Phillips in their 25-man Premier League squad. The midfielder now has another chance after missing months in the team.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Phillips has been out of City’s main squad since December 2023. He had a loan move to Ipswich Town last season, featuring in 14 games. He couldn’t stop their relegation. Before that, Phillips couldn’t make an impact at West Ham United either.

When he came back to City this summer, many thought he would be sold or on loan again. But City have now included him in their team, giving him a maybe final chance to save his career under Pep Guardiola.
