Kingsley Coman Completes Transfer to Al Nassr From Bayern Munich

Kingsley Coman has joined Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr, ending 10 successful years at Bayern Munich. The French winger will play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mané, and other new players this season.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Al Nassr paid €25 million, with bonuses possibly reaching €30 million, for Coman’s move from Bayern Munich. The 29-year-old signed a three-year contract, earning €20-25 million per year, as confirmed in a recent report.

Cristiano Ronaldo was key in convincing Coman to join. He pushed for the move and wanted Coman as a teammate.

In his decade at Bayern, Coman scored 72 goals and assisted 71 in 339 matches. He won nine Bundesliga titles and scored the winner in the 2020 Champions League final against PSG. Fans and officials have wished him well in this new chapter.

BAYERN MUNICH AND AL NASSR: SEASON UPDATES

Bayern finished the 2024/25 Bundesliga season in first place, 13 points ahead of Bayer Leverkusen. Coman’s playing time decreased after Luis Díaz and Michael Olise arrived, making him a rotation option.

Al Nassr finished third in the Saudi Pro League last season and are looking to strengthen their squad after signing Iñigo Martínez and João Félix this summer as part of their efforts to challenge for the title again. Their next match is against Al Taawoun, who are just two points behind them early in the league campaign.

WHAT NEXT FOR COMAN AND AL NASSR?

Coman is expected to debut in Al Nassr’s next game, bringing experience and skill to the attack. The team aims to win the Saudi Pro League and perform well in the AFC Champions League, as they look to attract top European talent to bolster their chances of claiming the title.

Bayern Munich will adjust their squad after losing one of their most successful players. New signings will need to fill the gaps left by Coman’s departure who followed Leroy Sané, who left to Galatasaray early in the transfer window.

Fans will watch closely to see how quickly Coman adapts and how much impact he can make in Saudi Arabia.
