Kingsley Coman Signs With Al Nassr On Three-Year Deal
Kingsley Coman has signed a three-year contract with Al Nassr. He leaves Bayern Munich after eight seasons to start a new chapter in Saudi Arabia.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Al Nassr signed Coman after agreeing on a fee just under €30 million with Bayern Munich. Coman, 29, won nine Bundesliga titles and 20 trophies in Germany. He scored nine goals and provided six assists in 45 appearances for Bayern Munich last season.
Bayern signed Luis Diaz this summer, which led to Coman’s exit. Coman joins new arrivals João Félix and Iñigo Martínez at Al Nassr. He will play with Cristiano Ronaldo in one of Saudi Arabia’s most ambitious squads.
AL NASSR’S PLANS FOR THE NEW SEASON
Al Nassr finished third in the Saudi Pro League last season, 13 points behind champions Al-Ittihad. They added international stars this summer to challenge for the top spot. Last season, Al Nassr missed a Champions League spot by seven points.
With Coman and other signings, the club aims to build a strong attack and improve defense. Their next league match is against Al Taawoun, who finished fourth last season, just three points behind Al Nassr. Both teams are expected to compete for a Champions League spot this year.
WHAT DOES COMAN BRING?
Coman had a tough time at Bayern last season, with only 23 appearances and 4 goals due to injuries and competition. His speed, dribbling, and experience will strengthen Al Nassr’s wing play. He will join Ronaldo and Félix in attack, offering options on both sides.
Coman’s leadership and winning experience will be key as Al Nassr aims to close the gap with Al-Ittihad. Fans hope his arrival will spark a title challenge and bring Al Nassr back to the top of Saudi football.
WHAT’S NEXT?
Al Nassr will register Coman before the new Saudi Pro League season starts. He is expected to debut in the home opener against Al Taawoun. With new signings, Al Nassr will aim for better results and the championship.
Bayern will look to integrate Luis Diaz and younger players to replace Coman. Fans in Riyadh hope Coman’s experience will lead Al Nassr to major titles.
