Aston Villa have announced that Lamare Bogarde has committed his future to the club. Bogarde has signed a new long-term contract at Villa Park, as announced on Monday.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Bogarde has been rewarded for his recent performances with a new long-term contract at Aston Villa. The 21-year-old will remain at the club until the summer of 2030, having signed a five-and-a-half-year deal. Bogarde joined Villa from Feyenoord in 2021 and has steadily progressed through the ranks. He made his breakthrough in the 2023-24 season and has gone on to make eight league appearances and four Champions League appearances for the team this season.

Bogarde, who had reportedly been linked with a move away from the club, expressed his delight over the new contract.
