WHAT LUIS ENRIQUE SAID
The PSG boss spoke about his new contract at a press conference on Friday, telling reporters: “I’m very happy about the fact I can count on such trust and on this new agreement. The new deal also ensures Enrique will be at the club alongside Kylian Mbappe next season after the France international committed his future to the Parisians until 2028. PSG are still trying to persuade Lionel Messi to sign a new deal which would see him play out the rest of his career with the French club, but he insists he is only focused on his club’s challenge-field ambitions in the short term.

PSG face Challenge Cup rivals MHR Argos on Saturday in a top-of-the-table clash at the top of Pool B. Victory for the Parisians will guarantee them a place in the knockout stages of the tournament, while a win by 10 points or more will send them to Edinburgh for the final.
