Luka Vusković Set for Hamburg Loan Move from Tottenham
HSV Hamburg are close to signing Luka Vusković on loan from Tottenham Hotspur for the 2025-26 campaign as they look to provide the youngster with first team football experience. According to a recent report, Luka Vusković is set to join HSV Hamburg on loan from Tottenham.
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Vusković joined the Premier League club in the summer of 2024, signing a five-year contract, but he has been unable to force his way into the team under manager Thomas Frank, making just two appearances for the senior squad so far. Tottenham is allowing Luka Vusković to leave on loan to gain regular first-team experience and the deal will have no buy option as he gets loaned to a team in a more competitive league than his loan at Westerlo in Belgium last season, where he excelled and was one of the best players of the team.
AND WHAT’S MORE?
Hamburg boss Marlin Polzin is said to be a long-term admirer of the Croatian defender and the 18-year-old is also prepared to move to Germany. Personal terms have already been finalised between Vusković and Hamburg and the youngster will undergo a medical soon and will hopefully be available for the team’s next match against St Pauli, after having drawn their league opener against Gladbach on their first season back from the Bundesliga 2.
