Manchester United Unveil Cunha, Šeško, and Mbeumo at Old Trafford

Manchester United have shown their new signings, Matheus Cunha, Benjamin Šeško, and Bryan Mbeumo, to excited fans at Old Trafford. This is a big part of the club’s changes for the 2025/26 season.

WHAT HAPPENED AT OLD TRAFFORD?

The players were introduced on the pitch as United’s newest members. Cunha comes from Wolverhampton Wanderers. Šeško is from RB Leipzig. Mbeumo joins from Brentford. The club did not share the transfer fees, but these signings are exciting. Their past performances show they can make United’s attack better. Notably, Mbeumo is moving to Manchester United for £65 million plus £6 million in add-ons, as reported recently.

MAJOR SIGNINGS FOR A FRESH START

Manchester United finished fifteenth in the Premier League last season, missing Champions League spots. Šeško, a young striker, scored 14 goals for Leipzig and will add height and strength. Mbeumo scored 10 goals and contributed 6 assists in 29 league appearances for Brentford last season, bringing pace and creativity. Cunha scored 12 Premier League goals and had 7 assists, showcasing his versatility as he can play forward or midfielder. Their signings show the club is ready to fight for European places as they aim to rebound from one of their worst campaigns in over 50 years.

WHAT DOES THE FUTURE HOLD?

United will begin their 2025-26 season in the Premier League with a game against Arsenal next weekend. The Red Devils want a spot in the top four, having ended the previous season closer to relegation than to European spots. The new signings will face pressure to perform quickly, with Cunha, Šeško, and Mbeumo expected to help United recover near the top teams in England. Their performances will significantly influence the club’s ambitions.
