Maresca Discusses Garnacho’s Readiness for Starting Role

Manchester United manager Enzo Maresca has talked about possibly including Alejandro Garnacho in the starting lineup. He stressed the importance of players adapting and learning from recent mistakes.

Maresca plans to speak with young winger Alejandro Garnacho if he decides to start him in the next match. The coach said players need time to get used to new tactics and pressures. He mentioned United’s recent 2-2 draw with Brentford. During the game, Garnacho made a defensive mistake just before Brentford scored. Maresca explained, “Players need time to adapt. It’s a normal process. At Brentford, two or three minutes before the goal we conceded exactly the same, with player behind Garnacho alone again.”
