Noah Okafor Completes Transfer to Leeds United

Leeds United have signed Swiss forward Noah Okafor from AC Milan. He completed his medical and signed all the documents. The transfer is worth more than €20 million, as confirmed by reports. This adds strength to Leeds’ attack for the new Premier League season.

OKAFOR LEAVES AC MILAN FOR ELLAND ROAD

Noah Okafor joined AC Milan from Red Bull Salzburg in 2023 for €15.5 million. Now, he is moving to Leeds United after the clubs agreed on terms. At 25, he found it hard to get regular playing time at Milan, making 54 appearances, scoring seven goals and providing five assists. Last season, he was loaned to Napoli, where he won the Serie A title and contributed just one goal and two assists in 21 games. Though he was Milan’s top scorer in pre-season, speculation about his future arose. Leeds acted fast to secure him on a four-year contract, with an extra season option. The club’s official announcement is expected soon.

LEEDS BOOST ATTACK AS PROMOTION CHASE BEGINS

Leeds aim to stay in the Premier League after gaining promotion last season and winning their opener against Everton. Head coach Daniel Farke wants to strengthen the squad, focusing on attack. The goal is to stay in the Premier League this year. Okafor’s speed and flexibility will enhance the front line. Current regulars include Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter. Leeds play Arsenal next, who finished as runner ups last season.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR OKAFOR AND LEEDS?

Noah Okafor should start training with his new team right away. He might debut as soon as this weekend. His presence adds depth to the attack for a busy period. Leeds hope Okafor’s international and Serie A experience helps lead them in the Premier League. They face Arsenal next at Anfield, aiming to gather early momentum.
