Pablo Torre Completes Permanent Move to Mallorca

Pablo Torre has officially moved to Mallorca from Barcelona permanently. This transfer is important for both clubs this summer. Barcelona can buy Torre back and will get a percentage of any future sale profit, showing their belief in his talent.

According to a previous report, he has a buy-back clause in his contract.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Torre joined Mallorca after lengthy talks. The transfer cost €5 million for half of his federative rights. He signed a four-year contract until June 30, 2029. Torre played 27 games for Barcelona, scoring five goals and assisting in four over two seasons.

According to a previous report, he has played just 192 minutes for Barcelona this season.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Moving to Mallorca gives Torre a chance for regular playing time, which he didn’t have at Barcelona. Manager Jagoba Arrasate thinks Torre is important for his plans. The club added a €25 million buyout clause, showing trust in Torre’s skills.

A previous report confirmed that Mallorca see Torre as an important addition to their squad.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR TORRE?

In his new journey at Mallorca, Torre aims to be a regular starter. His role in the Spanish U21 team and past performances in Racing de Santander show he can succeed. Mallorca expects Torre to help improve their La Liga performance and secure a better spot in the league especially when they face Torre’s former team, Barcelona, in the opening matchday of La Liga.

Last season, Mallorca finished mid-table in La Liga, which provides a solid platform for Torre’s integration and growth.
