WHAT HAPPENED?

Pogba will join Monaco as a free agent after being released by Juventus. This marks his return to high-level football after a doping suspension. The contract runs until June 2027, and Pogba will arrive in Monaco within a day for medical exams. Pogba attracted interest from Saudi Arabian clubs but chose to stay in Europe. He reportedly made financial sacrifices for this move, seeking Champions League action with Monaco next season.

THE RETURN OF A WORLD CHAMPION

Pogba will reunite with Ligue 1 without having played professionally in France, even though he won the World Cup with France in 2018. He has been a star at Manchester United and Juventus.
