PSV Eindhoven Start Negotiations for Parma’s Dennis Man

PSV Eindhoven are talking with Italian team Parma to sign Romanian winger Dennis Man. The Dutch champions want to strengthen their attack for the new season.

WHAT HAPPENED?

PSV Eindhoven have started talks with Parma to sign Dennis Man for the 2025/26 season. Man played 33 games in Serie A last season, scoring four goals and making five assists. He is under contract with Parma until 2027 and is worth about €10.9 million. PSV have lost Noa Lang to Napoli and Johan Bakayoko to RB Leipzig this summer. They have signed Ruben van Bommel, but need more attacking players, making Man a top target. Last season, PSV finished the Eredivisie as champions and are aiming to keep their title after a strong performance.

DENNIS MAN’S IMPACT AND PSV’S AMBITIONS

Dennis Man has played 142 games for Parma since joining in 2021, scoring 28 goals and adding 17 assists. He has 35 appearances for Romania and played in Euro 2024. PSV, the Dutch league champions, need more wingers after some recent player departures. Coach Peter Bosz is looking for players to support experienced winger Ivan Perisic. PSV’s strong performance helped them win the league, but they want to compete in both the Dutch league and in Europe this season. Their ambitions are bolstered by their recent success, having claimed the Eredivisie title last season.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR PSV AND PARMA?

PSV and Parma will continue to talk about Dennis Man’s transfer fee in the coming days. PSV start their Eredivisie season next weekend and want their team ready for upcoming games in the league and in Europe. PSV finished first in the Eredivisie last season, while Parma came back to Serie A and finished mid-table, specifically in 11th place. PSV’s next game is against NEC Nijmegen, who finished 6th last season. Signing Man would give PSV another attacking choice as they defend their title and prepare for their Champions League campaign.
