Real Betis won a close 2-1 match against Fiorentina in the UEFA Conference League semi-final’s first leg. This win gives them a small lead for next week’s game in Florence.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Real Betis started well in Seville, scoring in the sixth minute. Abdessamad Ezzalzouli scored with help from Cedric Bakambu, who is playing well in this competition. Manchester United’s Antony, on loan, scored a beautiful goal in the 64th minute to make it 2-0 for Betis. Fiorentina scored in the 72nd minute as captain Luca Ranieri took advantage of a defensive mistake. Fiorentina tried to score again, but Betis kept their lead.
