Roberto Firmino Agrees Transfer To Al Sadd After Al Ahli Exit

Roberto Firmino will start a new journey in Qatar. He has agreed to join Al Sadd after leaving Al Ahli. Firmino had a successful but tough two years there.

Firmino, a former Liverpool star, now has a deal with Al Sadd. He will be announced officially when he passes medical tests and signs papers. Firmino joined Al Ahli in 2023 but didn’t play regularly. He had ups and downs but was a key player in Al Ahli’s AFC Champions League win. He had 13 goal involvements and won player of the tournament.

Now moving to Al Sadd ends his time in Saudi Arabia. He gets a new chance in the Qatari Stars League. His experience and skills can help his new team next season.

AL AHLI AND AL SADD: SEASON IN REVIEW

Al Ahli finished fourth in the Saudi Pro League last season. Their big win was the 2024/25 AFC Champions League. It was a first for the club. Firmino was a hero in that tournament, even when he was not in the domestic team.
