Simone Inzaghi has talked about rumors linking him to Al Hilal. He says he is happy at Inter Milan as they prepare for an important period.
INZAGHI REAFFIRMS INTER COMMITMENT
There have been reports of a big offer from Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal. Inzaghi says, “I’m happy here at Inter. I feel good and I’ve everything to do important things at this club.” This calms talk of him leaving and shows he wants to stay with the Nerazzurri. Al Hilal have reportedly offered Inzaghi a huge contract. His focus, though, is on his project in Milan and building on his recent successes with Inter.
INTER EYEING THE FUTURE
Inter Milan have had another good season under Inzaghi, having already won the Serie A title. The team has been consistent, with a strong defense and an exciting attack. Inter currently lead the Serie A table, well ahead of city rivals AC Milan and Juventus. Inzaghi’s contract runs until 2026, but the board wants to extend it until 2028, with talks expected after the Champions League final. The club have also promised to spend around €40 million on a new striker for next season, showing their desire to stay at the top.
WHAT’S NEXT FOR INZAGHI AND INTER?
This weekend, Inter face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final, aiming for their first European trophy since 2010. Inzaghi wants to make sure transfer rumors do not distract them from this chance. Talks over his new contract will get serious after the final, with Inter eager to keep him for a long time. Al Hilal may go after other top European coaches, but Inzaghi’s attention is on Inter’s next challenge as they aim for more trophies and success.
