AL HILAL’S AMBITIONS

They finished second in the league last season behind Al Ittihad and reached the AFC Champions League final. Hernández joining is part of their plan to sign big-name European players for more success at home and in Asia.
Al Hilal are the last season’s Saudi Pro League champions.
MILAN LOOKS FORWARD
AC Milan now have a big task in replacing Hernández. Last season, they finished eighth in Serie A, missing out on the Champions League. With all the focus in the Serie A ahead next season, Milan must quickly strengthen their left side to stay competitive. They have a pre-season friendly against Real Betis next, preparing for the upcoming Serie A season, as fans eagerly await new players.

Al Hilal begin their season as champions and should do well in the league. They open against Al Ahli, who finished fourth last year. Both teams’ performances in upcoming games will shape their seasons.
