Tottenham Seal Randal Kolo Muani Loan As PSG Deal Finalised

Tottenham have signed Randal Kolo Muani on loan from PSG. The deal was agreed after last-minute talks on transfer deadline day.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Kolo Muani will join Tottenham on a season-long loan from PSG. Spurs have agreed to pay a €5m loan fee to PSG. The deal does not include an option or obligation for Tottenham to buy the striker at the end of the loan term, after a final exchange between the two clubs. Tottenham is looking to strengthen their attack after a mixed start to the season. They did initially hold talks with Red Bull Salzburg over a move for Karim Konate after missing out on Alvaro Rodriguez, but have now brought in the France international instead.

WHY TOTTENHAM SIGNED KOLO MUANI

Tottenham finished last season in seventeenth place in the Premier League but won the Europa League thus qualifying for the Champions League. The team started the 2025-26 campaign with two wins and one loss in their first three games to sit fourth in the table. Scoring goals has been an early concern with just six goals in those games. Kolo Muani, who scored 10 goals and made three assists in 22 games during his loan spell at Juventus last season, is expected to add firepower to Spurs’ attack. PSG, on the other hand, are coming off the back of another Ligue 1 title, having won the league last season with a total of 84 points.

WHAT’S NEXT?

Tottenham’s next match is against West Ham, who won the first points of their season and battling to avoid slipping into the relegation zone. Spurs are just three points behind leaders Liverpool. Kolo Muani could make his debut this weekend as Tottenham bid to move into the Champions League spots.
