Transfer Race Heats Up for Millwall’s Mihailo Ivanović as New Agents Announced

Millwall striker Mihailo Ivanović, aged 20, has signed with Unique Sports Group as his new representatives. This has sparked increased transfer speculation as multiple clubs, including Parma, express strong interest in signing the highly-rated Serbian forward.

WHAT HAPPENED

Ivanović’s decision to join Unique Sports Group comes after a breakout season at Millwall, where he scored 13 goals in 40 appearances in all competitions. His impressive debut campaign in the EFL Championship earned him both Young Player of the Year and Goal of the Season awards at the club’s end-of-season ceremony. Interest is growing from clubs across Europe: Serie A side Parma have formally approached Millwall about a possible transfer, seeking a replacement for striker Ange-Yoan Bonny after his move to Inter. Premier League clubs—most notably Everton and Wolves—are also tracking Ivanović as they look to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new season.

According to a previous report, Ivanović won Young Player of the Year at the club’s end-of-season ceremony.

RISING STAR AMID CHAMPIONSHIP CHALLENGES

Ivanović joined Millwall from Vojvodina in August 2024 for a reported £2.8 million fee. He quickly adapted to English football, becoming the team’s leading scorer and a key figure during a turbulent season that saw Millwall finish 15th in the Championship, clear of relegation but far from play-off contention. His performances did not go unnoticed, drawing praise for his finishing and work rate. Ivanović also made his debut for the Serbian senior national team in November 2024 and is considered one of Serbia’s brightest young talents.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR IVANOVIĆ AND MILLWALL

With his new agency, Ivanović is set for a pivotal summer. Millwall are keen to keep their star striker, but an offer from a top division club could be difficult to refuse. Parma, having survived in Serie A last season, see Ivanović as a natural fit for their squad rebuild after Bonny’s exit, and they are not alone in the race. Everton and Wolves, both aiming to solve striking shortages after difficult Premier League campaigns, are expected to make formal moves. Millwall begin their new Championship season soon, and whether Ivanović will be leading their line or playing elsewhere in Europe remains to be seen. Their opening fixture will be crucial, especially as the club monitors both incoming and outgoing transfers that could reshape their squad for the 2025/26 campaign.
